Somehow a whole bunch of USC articles ended up in my Google News feed

I don’t care a whit about USC. Anyway, everyone associated with USC seems to think Campbell will be their new coach. I doubt it, but I just thought I would mention it.

I don’t like this. I started a conference realignment thread on the premium board for this reason, and a few weeks later Oklahoma and Texas were SEC bound.

I still don’t think he’d go to USC.

People don't seem to understand just how much of your cookies are shared with common vendors. It's a web of patterns; your patterns. And the sophistication to tap you for things you've shopped for, searched for, or commented on are staggering. There are, of course, things you can do to 'reduce' this type of absorption. But, in the end, any enjoyment carries risk and that's the perpetual challenge for us.

Follow Football Scoop on Twitter and they say LSU is down to Campbell, Aranda or Napier

I mean I can see that LSU would want Campbell. I'm curious if there's any other traction there.

I just don't see Matt in Baton Rouge...Los Angeles, sure...even Gainesville before LSU.

Oddly enough, I was in LA this weekend visiting a friend and went to the USC/UCLA game and I had an ISU quarter zip on. Had a few people ask if our coach was their next coach

Yeah I don't know either. It's hard to believe Campbell would be interested in that type of place but on the other hand, The Scoop is usually right on with their reporting. But it could be one of those lists that, that's who LSU us focused on going after, which doesn't mean that a coach will accept obviously.

With the season we just had, he wouldn't be popular with either fanbase. And both fanbases need to win the press conference on this hire.

Ehhh...it'd be pretty easy to dismiss a bad season at Iowa State. I think his cache is still pretty damn high among fan bases. Fans will be made that they didn't get someone like Lincoln Riley or Bob Stoops, but after that they'd accept Campbell as well as anyone.

At some point over the last 2 years, Football Scoop started doing opinion not just reporting.

It's been mentioned on this board multiple times. Of course they would like him.

But he isn't going there. I'll continue to say it. Two openings would actually scare me: Notre Dame, and Ohio State. Maybe penn state to a lessor extent.

Campbell is a midwestern guy, 100%. I don’t see him being comfortable with the California culture.

Been a while since I read '1984', but yes, a little bit of Big Brother. The tracking for ads is amazing.
