I know the coverage maps aren't out yet for the game this Saturday, but I thought I'd pass along this little tidbit of info...

I received a programming e-mail today saying that the Nebraska vs. ISU game would be shown on ABC for southern Minnesota and northern Iowa.

I was a bit worried since MN is of course Big Ten country and we're up against Northwestern vs Penn State for the same time slot with no mirror coverage... and ISU has been hosed in a situation like this in the past.

So stay happy my fellow NoIA, SoMN'ers! Coverage maps should be released on Wednesday I believe.

Worst case senario? Turn on your Xbox 360 download the ESPN app and watch it for free on there. Pretty amazing thing to have either way but even better if your not in the coverage area.

Hard to say, I'm guessing most of the central time zone will end up with the Neb/ISU game.

what about minneapolis? Thats the feed I get up here in Canada

I would guess we have a 95% chance of getting the Big 10 game in this area. It would take a small miracle for them to go away from the home conference. The Southern MN thing makes sense but I am not holding my breath for the MPLS area.

Northwestern v. Penn St all but guarantees that Moline/Quad Cities will be getting the Nebraska-ISU game...

I don't ever remember the Twin Cities stations taking a Big 12 game over a Big 10 game when given a choice.

It sucks living in Big 10 country. Isn't it bad enough that we all have to subsidize their flippin' network?
