i use both all the time everyday. I have the premium services for both. You have to for spotify if you want it on your phone and i hate the ads on pandora.

i haven't torrented any music is a very long time now. Feels good to be legit

you can't really compare Pandora and Spotify. One you can play whatever you want, the other you can pick a genre, but you don't get to pick what song plays.

I used Pandora for a while, but realized I only wanted to listen to the songs I knew were good, instead of trying anything new. I'm a Spotify user at home, since music is not allowed in our office...BOOOOOO!

I love Pandora. If you like 90s music like Counting Crows and such, Mr. Jones Radio is a great channel to add. They play a lot of great songs.

Slacker is my favorite. They are all pretty cool though and I don't think you can go wrong with any. Pandora seems to be available on more devices (DVD/Blu-ray players, TVs, etc...)

Adblock Plus combined with Firefox removes all adds from Pandora in case you are annoyed with them.

Grooveshark is the way to go. Use it all the time at work or at home with friends over. Just save the playlists and keep adding to them as you go. Can skip as many times as you want or play the song you want to hear at that moment. Havent downloaded a song in over a year. Only downside is the radio isnt the greatest.

I've really only used Pandora and I am getting tired of it. My biggest gripe is that I secretly think that the Foo Fighters pay exclusively for their songs to be played every third song no matter how many thumbs down I give them for the songs that I don't care for. For the record, my shuffle list is Nirvana, STP, Velvet Revolver, Oasis, and Alice in Chains. Foo Fighters for Nirvana and STP because they are similar, but overplayed on my 5 station shuffle.
