were you this adamant about the game mattering all the years we have beaten them this century

For sure, watching the 2014 game at Coaches Corner in Iowa City surrounded by distraught Hawk fans is one of my favorite memories. And if Gomez could have pinned Desanto on that throw last year! The gap in wrestling is significant, of course, but that would have been the first dual win since early 2000s.

I'd gladly lose to Iowa every year if we still made the NCAA Tournament

Yeah, I want both. No one is arguing that beating Iowa is the most important thing for the basketball program. When comparing the teams/programs head-to-head, however, winners and losers matter.

We won anyway! Miklus wasn’t rightfully awarded a two point near fall just before the reversal. The ref makes the proper call and we win the meet.

Dude... your schtick is getting so old. I get it if you want to call out the terrible posters like jeremy, uno, etc. but why be a **** to good established fans, that are obviously fans of Iowa St.?

has nothing to do with fans of Iowa State.

Iowa has had such a good last decade compared to us.

And that's not even all the trophies from the last decade!

When comparing programs ISU is better, plain and simple.

Which is why there is no room for your complaining. We’re 7-3 against them in the last decade. That’s pretty dominant for a non blue blood in a rivalry game against another P5 opponent in a sport as tetchy and home court dominant as CBB.

Disagree. I'll take the team that has one more Big 12 tourney championships during the last few years than Iowa has won games in their tourney.
