Then win the freaking game. Show it on the court. If we had lost to UNI in football, it would have been little consolation to say “yeah but we’re the better program.” That’s what Iowa fans have always done after losing to us in football. It’s always BS and always will be.
You realize ISU has won 7 of the last 10, right... and last year we were down 3 of our rotation players, lmao.

Iowa has had such a good last decade compared to us.

Definition of a "Winner" right there folks.

I know a lot of us (including myself) read HR and HN for the banter that ensues from the milquetoast, but some have return with melancholy retort.

However, a lot of the events that HN and HR believes significant I believe to have high contingency to be mutually exclusive.

For instance, the girlfriend thing... really... breakups happen. ESPECIALLY when one member goes to college. It happened to me. Forgive me, but I doubt and would hope neither party would be shallow enough to break up with the other by Xavier saying “I’m going to be a Hok”. That would be crazy. Especially if his plan is to only go to the school for one year.

Also, yes the game thing yesterday is strange, but is it really? If I’m a recruit and a coach called me up with free tickets and it’s not far away, h*** yeah I’m going. It’s fun.

Your prediction verdict should not be based on normal behavior. My two cents.

The game in Iowa City last night giving Hawk fans a false sense of optimism. Xavier is announcing on Monday. His timeline has been in place for weeks. If the Clones had a home game today XF would be there. If that was the case, the Clones are suddenly the perceived favorite again simply because they got the last visit? A four year recruitment isnt going to come down to which campus he happened to visit last.

The staff put in the work. The two programs and coaching staffs couldnt be more different. Let the chips fall where they may.

but he was high fiving their players, and went in the locker room.

That has to be a sign he is going to Iowa. He has never spent any time with Iowa State players like that.

Nope, I’ll never, ever make the argument that a game doesn’t matter because our program is better.

I hope you get a chance to enjoy the beautiful day, Cat.

were you this adamant about the game mattering all the years we have beaten them this century
