State Gym?

Hey fanatics, I got some buddies coming to ames this weekend and I was wondering if you can get in too state gym without an ISU card? Can you just pay at the desk or is that not even an option?

They've let spectators in before for intramural basketball for free. But I imagine they want to test out the facility.
