Not sure if it's official but the smoke seems to indicate it. I thought she'd pick Iowa due to the recent uptick in recruiting by them.

State of Iowa has a hard time with keeping the stars in the state.

Sounds like French the football player from CR is on his way to play for the Ducks.

Someone please let Brent Musberger know about these defections. He seems to think everybody in Iowa grows up wanting to be Hawkeye.

Being former Hawkeye great, Greg Stokes' daughter I thought for sure she would pick the Hawkeyes. I would rather see her at UConn than Iowa. Good news.

I think you mean "HOCK-eye". Everytime Brent says that word it sounds like he is ready to spit a loogey.

Greg Stokes was probably smart enough to know that even though he was a Hawkeye and bleeds black and gold, Iowa's wbb program is average at best and UCONN is like a pro team

You mean like Harrison Barnes would choose ISU because he lived in Ames his Dad played there and his Mom worked there? Can't fault them for their choices. Just like you can't fault Taylor Greenfield. Staying close to home is overrated these days.

Best program in the country... maybe of all time. If UCONN offers.... it's DAMN hard to turn it down...

As much as I am NOT a Geno fan, I'd rather a good player go there, than to IC. I don't know myself, but, some seem to think they have a good class and I'd hate to see a Fab Five effect where the quality of some recruits brings more. For now, I'll credit BF with the better judgement about potential and certainly the better ability to bring out the best in the players he has.
