Where do you come up with this stuff? Makes no sense.

Makes perfect sense. They will start Green in an attempt to let Martinez heal up. If they are not moving the ball or the game is close they will bring in a 70-80% Martinez to spark the offense. If Green is able to put points on the board, Martinez will never step on the field. The poster is just stating he hopes we are making a game out of it and they HAVE to bring Martinez into the game

I see what you're saying. I misread what he wrote.

Best case scenario is that we contain the offense with Green in there, then they bring in Martinez to try and spark it, but he's a step slow and is forced to be a pocket passer.

Is pelini's **** that small that he has to try to win this with his back up to prove Nebraska can do that too?

No, BEST case scenario, we stuff all aspects of the run whoever is in there, and when our stellar punter isn't pinning them inside the ten, ARob, AA, Woody, Shontrelle and Co are running ther ball down the Huskers' throats and into the end zone.

THAT"S "best case scenario".

IIRC, ISU went into the NU game last year without their starting QB and tailback. What happened again?

the best case is we go up by 21 so fast that they bench their starters because its a hopeless cause and they save their players for the games remaining. then we blast CU next week. then lattimer blast MU's qb first play from scrimmage and we win the north.
