Ames being located in central Iowa might have something to do with that.

go to Applebee's in Ames any Monday night for about 9 months of the year and you get all the tailgate stop you need. The rest of the state needs these tours.

On the cyclones.com website with the other game show video from yesterday the bus stopped at a nursing home and visited Shirley Steele. Is she of any importance to the university? Sorry if I'm missing the boat on this one she does not ring a bell at all for me.

They're usually there a pretty good amount of time. Granted, the midday stops are a bit shorter, as they have to make it to their evening destination. Maybe 2-3 hours?

I was st the one in Paton. We arrived at 11:30 and were on the road heading back to work at 1:15.

BIG crowd in Bettendorf tonight. 20 minute wait for photos with Fred. CPR attracted a crowd, too. John Walters does a great job emceeing. Local Cyclone HOFamer Jayme Olson was in attendance. A great time was had by all, except my 2-1/2 year old granddaughter who was scared to death of Cy. I tried to convince her it wasn't Herky, but she wasn't buying it.
