Up until this weekend, I was kinda hoping we'd entertain selling beer at JTS at some point...but watching a number of people this weekend, most notably the ass-hat sitting next to my wife, I hope they never do. I drink more than the average fish...but holy ****, some people work HARD at getting effed up early in the morning...and find ways to ruin the day for many people around them. I can only imagine some of them being able to reload in stadium.

My experience has been the opposite. At venues where they do not sell beer inside, some idiots feel the need to 'load up' prior to the game and get as drunk as possible. I haven't seen near the belligerency at stadiums that sell beer inside and allow fans to casually drink during the game.

That said, there probably is a price point where this becomes moot and patrons feel they simply can't afford to drink inside and could explain the Philadelphia Eagles games I've attended being the exception to the above rule.

IMO the 11:00 kicks are sneaky when it comes to alcohol consumption. There are a ton of people and students out there drinking on an empty stomach and we all know how that can go. I can tailgate with the best of them but I always have some food right out of the gate or it won't be good.

That's what you get when the primary complaint about 11:00 games is some variation of "not enough time to drink."

That seems to be on brand. According to this Iowa is tied for #13 with 33.6 gallons per capita. Quick math says that's something like 360 beers per person. Jeesh. Can this be true??

Packer fans consume that much every Sunday during football season. They tone it down by 50% in the off season.
