A pretty frustrating first 38 minutes and then a final two minutes that makes you totally forget about the rest of it. Really well done, Georges.

Felt sorry for the guy guarding him late in the game when he was standing out there until about 7-8 seconds then George drove it to the lane...you just feel good it's going in..

Nash was waiting for the spin move and George just powered it by him. Sorry George for doubting you and wanting the ball out of your hands that possession, my bad.

I agree....It was No Show Niang for the first 38 min. but then he entered and made some noise!

Loved how the game ended...down by 4 with 2:30 left and then Hogue made the shot of the game.

Play like that on Sat. in Austin, we got a great shot. Playing on the road is like playing close to the other team, avoiding big runs by the home team and making key shots down the stretch.

If you have used mred's bracket generator, there are a lot of favorable scenarios out there for ISU keeping the number 2 seed, and a few out there where ISU can get the number seed.

I have to admit, upon seeing the thread title, I immediately thought of this. Is that bad? My wife has chosen this as one of our "together time" shows.

Not bad at all. Entertaining show. Major Crimes, with President Laura Roslin, has been just as good, if not better.

Dis. A. Gree.

I watched only the first half, and Niang was there. Yeah, one glaring missed pass turnover and at least one miss on a three, but he was there.

What game were you watching?

It would be fun to know Georges career shooting % in just the final 2 minutes of games. He just does not miss.... amazing.

I'm sure my memory is being selective though.

Yes. Georges is focus #1 for any defense. The common complaint that I hear is that Georges sometimes forces it. Well, he didn't here (and now gets the opposite complaint). He played within himself and took what was open to him, and trusted his teammates to do their jobs. They did, and then Georges did when it came down to it.

I kinda thought it was odd that after Niang made that shot to put us up 3, okie st called timeout, and Niang was still on the floor for defense, iirc it was the starting lineup out there.

I just figured take him out on defense by putting in either BDJ or Nader. If they miss, like they did, you know they're gunna foul, so you can get him back in, if they hit a two they have to foul, and if they do make the shot, Fred still has 3 timeouts.

What I think Fred is thinking is he trust Niang in that situation to play assignment defense. Knowing he's not gunna flat shut someone down, but at least he won't be outta position and give up a wide open shot. Other thing that's possible, is if they did drill a 3 there to tie, Fred doesn't want to call a timeout. He wants to bring it up as fast as possible, so the defense can't get set.

This is another example of how much of an impact McKay has. Without McKay, I think Fred has to either roll longer with Niang when he picked up his 4th foul (weakest foul of all time btw) or bring him back sooner. I think he came back in with like 3 minutes left in the game?

He also probably has to guard Nash down the stretch and I don't see how he would keep from picking up his 5th.
