I think palm just got sloppy on updating the site locations from the prior week. The higher seed should have the first game on the host school campus, minus the teams that get a bye.

For the first year of the expanded playoffs from a program that rarely wins a bowl game?
Yes. Our basketball credits transfer.

Edit: Just to confirm, though it may be dumb it is 100% obvious that a Cyclone fan posting on a Cyclone message board about a “dreaded #8 seed” in the football playoff is tongue-in-cheek, right?

WTF? No way does the Big 12 get 4 teams in. Not at the expense of mediocre Big 10 and SEC schools.

The Big 12 #2 might get in depending on how other teams/schedules shake out. ISU beating Iowa in Kinnick sure helps our odds as Big 12 #2, but I'm still assuming we have to win the conference. At Iowa might be the conference's best OOC win this year.

If we made it to where we would be in with a home game I hope we have plans for having good grass as normally by the last home game of the season the field gets looking pretty rough.

A home game right before Christmas would be insane.

Worrying about the field conditions at JTS for the first round playoff game is exactly where every Cyclone fan needs to be right now.

We deserve this after 1.25+ centuries of football futility and heartbreak.
