This is great news! Can't wait to see Money in cardinal and gold next year and glad we'll be seeing TheCity hangin' around our board for the next couple of years. Thanks for choosing us and welcome to the Cyclone family!

This is a thread about a new addition to the Cyclone family. If you would like to hand out backhanded insults, please do it elsewhere. PM and insult me if you want - just knock it off right now. Nobody has even seen anyone play.

Wow, what a babe! I agree 100% with you.

forgive me if this has been talked about in another thread, but in the press conference JP (or PR, can't recall) mentioned that they were also excited for the 18 kids we had committed already.

looking at our list on the other site, it says we have 16 total commits ($$$ not included). was this a mistake or could there be a few we don't know about, and if you can answer TheCity, was Darius one of the extra 2? Welcome to the cyclone family!

CR currently has 16 commits listed, but that's without Taylor Martin. Martin said something about opening up his recruitment a few days ago, so his name was taken off the list. It's my opinion that he's still a commit because he hasn't talked to the new coach yet. I think he will still end up at Iowa State.

As for #18, I don't know. I've assumed for a long time that Reynolds had commited to the previous staff, so I figure he's #18. If he didn't commit to the previous staff, it must be somebody we don't know about.

It was up in the air for several reasons, and firing the assistants didnt help. But coach Rhoads gave a good presentation yesterday, and he said a few KEY things:

"stretch the length of the field"
"Gotta put points on the board"
"we will be physical on offense"
"gotta put points on the board:wink:"
That was all enough to secure him.
We pray that coach gives a fair opportunity to each assistant coach. That would make the transition for recruits smoother. There are coaches that we talked to that would love to be a part of the staff!!! Keep the loyal ones!

I loved the stretching the field comment as well. It's been a while since we consistently went deep.
