I didn't know that the old turf was 12 seasons old! I'm trying to figure it all out - when did we go back to natural? I though it was 1994, when DMac came, but I could be (and probably am) wrong...

It was in 96, when the Jacobson Building was completed, that the swiched back to grass.

1996 (TD's last year) was the first season of grass.

Mac's first season at ISU was '95, and according to that article, the grass replaced the artificial surface in '96.

The new turf looks amazing!
They can tear up as much of that as they need to finish the south endzone IMO, i just want it to get done! :yes:
