if we could add one that would be perfect, but I think we'll all love the 10 team format 5 years from now. They better add at least one but I really want 3 new schools added.

Was listening to 810 out of KC and they are very optimistic with this new news. Said Beebe leaving will not be an issue. Beebe wants to see the conference survive and he will leave on his own no problem if that is what it takes. Also thought Joe Castiglione might be the new B12 commish (would be great...old Big 8 guy!!) or at least interim one.
Question is if we pull this back together, do we do anything with the Big East schools??? I don't want to get too big for our britches by overreacting and adding a bunch of schools.
At this point, I believe the B12 lives on but who gets added (if anybody) will be extremely interesting to watch play out. I honestly do not want to go bigger than 12 myself.

Don't think Ohio State will leave the B10. :wink:Anybody think A&M has a chance of staying around is all OU's demands are met? I know publicly they said no way, but they have to say that not to get the SEC teams mad at them. I don't know, but Pickens comments would make you at least think they're talking again behind closed doors.
If A&M is indeed gone, I really don't want to go over 12 either. Why should the Big 12 have to take the BE remnants when just a week ago the BE teams were begging the BE not to accept ISU and Baylor.
Assuming A&M is gone, adding BYU, West Virginia, and Ohio State makes sense to me. Agree?

RebecaCy is starting to look like a genius.![]()
Why exactly?
He claimed Oklahoma was just bluff and was looking out for us all along. He might, through no gIlt of his own, end up being right.

The following schools are now the ones that have to be thinking "oh ****":
South Florida
West Virigina
Louisville
Cincinnati
Rutgers
Connecticut
TCU
3 of them might get Big 12 invites (I predict TCU, USF and Louisville)
West Viriginia "might" get SEC invite
UConn, Rutgers might get ACC invite
That leaves Cincinnati possibly on the outside. If I were them right now, I would be the most concerned about any of the BCS schools.
