They did it that way, from one side to another, but they also did a circular one like Iowa does, but they did YMCA-like letters over their heads. I guess that part was for the hearing impaired? ;)

Woah, we all know OSU did this well before UI. At least in Ohio, everyone knows what letter they are, while UI needs the flags in the corners to inform them

Disappointing result, but I still love the concept and would look forward to watching again. It is fun to see some old favorites on the floor again, and it is a cool opportunity to see some of those guys play together that were never together on the same squad at ISU, sort of a fan's dream what if scenario. There's always next year!

Hello all,

This was a disappointing game, and turn out overall. Everyone always has the right to be upset and voice their opinions. We’re open to hearing them.

We could go into how difficult all facets of this process can be, the uncontrollable letdowns we experienced, but the truth is few care about more than the final product.

Our final product was not good this weekend. Nobody feels more of the emotions all of cyclONEnation has voiced to us than we do.

It never has been our goal to hype up fool’s gold. TBT is an incredibly unique and difficult tournament to succeed in. To the pessimistic fans, thank you for the encouragement. To the optimistic fans, thank you for the support.

Best,
HML Team

Well said.

And the team has to hold hands during the entrance so no little Hoks get lost or left behind.

I guess instinct was that anything from UI was a copy from somewhere else (see Steelers jerseys). And I guess I learned a little bit of stuff doing my grad school a tOSU. Although I will never claim their basketball team - being there at the same time as A***n C**ft still bothers me

Team Fredette is pretty lethal, might finally have a team that can out talent the overseas elite. Do kind of enjoy seeing Kane play mostly because Fran talks about ISU for a little bit after that lol.

Watching TBT makes me wonder if these alumni teams even have a chance. The carefully crafted teams [Scarlet and Gray pun intended] just seem to play so much better as teams. The alumni teams have tons of talent, but don't play well together. I guess it is true. Basketball is a team game.

Scarlet and gray is an alumni team though?
