So I am just searching youtube videos right now and I came across some Johnny Orr videos. It got me thinking...what is something people wish they were around to experience? I am only 22 and never really got the opportunity to enjoy the Orr days. That is one thing I wish I really would have been apart of.

I put this under off-topic because it could be anything. I would have also have liked to of experienced when we put a man on the moon.

I would have loved to see Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin in concert live in their hay day. Unfortunately I was born in 82, so I missed that boat.

Would have loved to see Jesse Owens put it right up Hitler's *** in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.

Historically, too many things to list.

Cyclone related,

The Orr days, 2000 and 2001 teams (didn't become a real fan till my high school senior year of 02).

Troy Davis. #2 Ok lite game (had tickets, but had to work late so didn't make the drive as I'd show up "late")

I wish I would have seen the moon landing live. The pride in the country for something that momentous had to be an amazing feeling.

I didn't read all first post. Sorry.

Would have loved to see Queen live.

Would have been cool to see (from safe viewing distance of course) a nuclear weapons test.

I really could enjoy the hell out of a time machine, there are so many things id love to just witness happening throughout history.

General sports: 1930's/1940's-era baseball for comparison's sake.
ISU sports: Jack Trice's game against Minnesota to see what really happened
Non-sports: the moon landing or the Titanic sinking (assuming I live through the experience).

Hmmm...so many things.

In no particular order...
1. Seeing Dr J play in the ABA or NBA
2. Live when gas was cheap, and in the musclecar era (say mid to late 60s)
3. See Alice in Chains play with Layne Staley
4. See the 1985 Bears play
5. Early Nascar (sucks since the 70s)
6. See Van Halen play in clubs in LA (late 70s)

Guess I love cars, music, and sports....

could go on and on.....

Excellent choices, especially Alice in Chains and Van Halen!
