I wish I would have seen this thread before today - would have tailgated another 15 minutes. Thunderstruck was underwhelming to say the least.

Soooooooooooo??? 16 pages of this crap and nobody has reported in yet?

Report:
It was "Thunderstruck"

It was edited poorly, but not as bad as SOTW on repeat of the first 5 seconds. This was enough to really show how much of a rut that was and why the entrance song has become such a big deal in the first place. Fan experience matters.

It was lame. A few burnt-out biker types in our section wanted it cranked up.

BUUUTT...there was no "Sweet Caroline"...so that was a win. And because of that...I won't say anything more about Thunderstruck. Compromise.

They decided to shorten the build up at the beginning to get to the first verse faster for some reason. And the flame towers or whatever sounded a lot cooler in theory than they looked in real life.

The hype video before the entrance was cool though.

At least with smoke we had anticipation. This was lame. Fire sounded cool and was a neat adoption but really small compared what I thought it'd be. Video board seemed quiet tonight overall.

Entrance is lame but it isn't embarrassing anymore at least. SOTW and the inflatable tunnel were stupid. I'm glad both are gone.

All in all the entrance was terrible. Thunderstruck sucked and it did nothing to fire anyone up.

I would hope it's been said before, but try and pick a song that 100% of the fans will like. It it'd been hip-hop or country, you have more people complaining.

It was very lackluster. Why did they cut the build up part to get straight to the first verse? I thought they could have done some cool stuff with the song but it was very short, awkward, and did nothing for the crowd.
