I find it really curiious that no one in the media has commented on the rapidly slipping support for CPR. Or called for a coaching change. I can tell you that when things got bad (not as bad as right now with ISU) at Tennessee, papers from Memphis to Knoxville said Derek Dooley had to go.

Could it be the local scribes are a little too comfortable with the status quo? Or are they afraid of something?

A few have commented on the recent struggles. But keep in mind that Iowa State has a much higher pain tolerance than Tennessee due to the polar opposite histories of the two programs.
