I dont know if anyone else has really noticed it, but we always seem to have quite a few timeouts left at end of games. I wonder if Fred is saving these since he knows how thin we are so his guys can get a much needed breather. Or is it another strategy?

This has been brought up before. General consensus; LET ME MAYOR COACH!!!

It's nice to have a couple for the last minutes of games exspecially when it's a close game. Mcd did this too. The big difference between the Mayor and Mcdoormat, is the Mayor calls a time out when he sences a run by the other team, for example after a 5 point run and the opponents croud gets into it. Mcd, would let them try to play out of a funk, and call a timeout after they had ripped off 15 straight and then call the TO.

I think this is the biggest difference this year, and why we are in so many more games till the end.

Oh ya, and Let me Mayor Coach:rolleyes:

Ya Hoiberg doesn't let the bottom fall out before using the timeouts. I also believe he likes to let the game flow as much as possible, with TV timeouts and everything the game is pretty broken up.

Mcdoormat still doesn't stop play with timeouts when needed, and he still pulls streaky players out...who knows why?
