Useless stat. These guys just need to learn how to put more touch on their passes, then guys will catch it.
All of the game winning balls that got dropped were very catchable.

Dekkers definitely struggled reading the field and made a lot of bad decisions, but we're a couple routine catches away from a bowl game and a totally different feeling about our offensive personnel going into next year.

Eh its whatever. A bowl would be nice but instead we got to clean house on the offense coaching staff and move guys around who deserved to be moved up.

A few of those moves were long overdue and overall being in a bowl isn't what it used to be. Hopefully the program will be better in the long run for this year

Another way of looking at things that leads to a similar conclusion that you just stated: Our offense last year could have the two leading candidates for NFL rookies of the year if they played all year in the NFL. Their talent level hid what was going on with the offensive line.

Yep. Feels like these are our 2 scenarios

A. We make 2 of those catches and go 6-6. Play Southern Miss in the LendingTree bowl(just replacing the 5-7 Rice team with us). We run it back next year with most if not all of the same staff

B. We don't and go 4-8. We clean house on offense and fix some underlying issues that were pushed right into our faces this year. Some coaches who werent pulling their weight are gone and replace them with guys who have a little heat to their name. We go into next year with a new staff who knows what the problems are and fresh POVs to make things better
