Watching the post game presser I feel bad for him. He is a hell of a coach and seems like a classy guy.

He will be fine eventually. Just in his 2nd year. The last 2 years they've just been torn apart by injuries

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but the Big 12 is much deeper and tougher than any other conference he has coached in. I guess it also depends on what your definition of "turned around" is, too. Also, how much times does TCU give him?

A&M, Baylor, & Texas Tech were all terrible when they joined the Big 12. They all eventually achieved some success. It'll happen @ TCU eventually. Turning around a basketball program is much easier than a football program.

I would say, a winning season would be the first goal. TCU will give him as much time as he needs. I think 5 years before the seat starts heating up.

Ok, I agree then. I definitely think he'll get a winning season here shortly.

He's a good coach. TCU wasn't all that good in the Mountain West, making the move to the Big 12 all that much harder.

I was amazed when Dave Armstrong was talking about injuries the last 2 years. I'm not saying they'd be a tourney team otherwise, but if any time can talk about injuries impacting their season, it's TCU.

He's a good coach and man. He isn't going to embarrass the school. They won't be as good as the upper Big 12 but if they can hang around Baylor/Tech/WVU, they'll be OK.

I liked his line about giving up 52 to a player . . . and winning the game. He coached to win the game today. In many ways, the final score does not tell the story of this game.

Didn't feel like this needed a new thread so I'm bumping an old one to post this tweet:

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN
Another name that is in the mix as a target at Arizona State, per sources: TCU's Trent Johnson.

Could be rough for TCU right as they seem to be pulling into competitiveness to start over.
