Which is ******** if you don't get Fox Sports North and can't get Fox Sports North. Like when living in the residence halls.Yup - Twins site lists the game is on FS-N, which means it will be blacked out on ESPN. Gotta watch it on Fox Sports North.

The MLB blackout policy is horrible. I have MLB TV, and of the six games being played today I can only view two. Its ridiculous the amount of games that are blacked out for Iowa, a state without a single professional team.
Twins
Cubs
Cards
Royals
Sox
Brewers
am i missing any? and i hate that every time the twins are on espn i get effed b/c our apartment only has mediacom. might be going to the bars for this one tonight
Exactly, and the Wednesday night Twins @ Yankees game on ESPN2 will probably also be blacked out.The MLB blackout policy is horrible. Whitesox as well.
I'm guessing Major League Baseball gets the money eventually, and they make a killing having all the teams have networks where every subscriber is paying for the channel rather than a few fans that want to see the games paying $120.Exactly, and the Wednesday night Twins @ Yankees game on ESPN2 will probably also be blacked out.
I ended up buying the MLB Audio. I get to listen to all of the games of all the teams this season. No blackouts for the radio broadcasts. $20 for the entire season. If I listen to just the Twins broadcast, that $.12 a game. Costs even less a game if I listen to other teams broadcasts. Listening to the radio broadcast is better then nothing.
But still, that is just $20. I want to SEE the Twins games, but because of the blackouts, I couldn't even order the mlb.tv if I wanted to. Because of the stupid blackouts, whoever the money goes to, they only got $20 out of me for the season when they could of had $120.
I didn't realize the Red Sox were blacked out in Iowa... :twitcy:
no one cares about the teams on the east coast despite how much espn likes to hype them up

MLB blackout rules were made by a bald monkey with a stick up his you know what.
If you listen to **** and Bert on MLB.tv, what I would do is watch ESPN on mute (if I had the game), have my laptop next to me and listened to **** and Bert call the game.I'm trying to decide if I want to watch the game on ESPN or MLB.tv tonight. I don't really like listening to the ESPN announcers (rather listen to **** and Bert), but it would be nice not worrying about the feed being choppy and freezing every once in a while. Any thoughts?
