Yup - Twins site lists the game is on FS-N, which means it will be blacked out on ESPN. Gotta watch it on Fox Sports North.
Which is ******** if you don't get Fox Sports North and can't get Fox Sports North. Like when living in the residence halls.

The MLB blackout policy is horrible. I have MLB TV, and of the six games being played today I can only view two. Its ridiculous the amount of games that are blacked out for Iowa, a state without a single professional team.

Exactly, and the Wednesday night Twins @ Yankees game on ESPN2 will probably also be blacked out.

I ended up buying the MLB Audio. I get to listen to all of the games of all the teams this season. No blackouts for the radio broadcasts. $20 for the entire season. If I listen to just the Twins broadcast, that $.12 a game. Costs even less a game if I listen to other teams broadcasts. Listening to the radio broadcast is better then nothing.

But still, that is just $20. I want to SEE the Twins games, but because of the blackouts, I couldn't even order the mlb.tv if I wanted to. Because of the stupid blackouts, whoever the money goes to, they only got $20 out of me for the season when they could of had $120.

I'm guessing Major League Baseball gets the money eventually, and they make a killing having all the teams have networks where every subscriber is paying for the channel rather than a few fans that want to see the games paying $120.

no one cares about the teams on the east coast despite how much espn likes to hype them up

Wow, the train of thought completely left the station without you aboard, didn't it...

Nope, you listed them all. If you're a Twins fan, there are 11 games all season that will not be on Fox Sports North:

4/16 @ Rays (FOX)
5/7 @ Red Sox (FOX)
6/11 vs Rangers (FOX)
7/6 vs Rays (MLB.TV)
7/9 @ White Sox (FOX)
7/20 vs Indians (MLB.TV)
7/23 vs Tigers (FOX)
8/25 vs Orioles (MLB.TV)
8/27 vs Tigers (FOX)
9/10 @ Tigers (FOX)
9/22 vs Mariners (MLB.TV)

This is why I dropped my MLB.com subscription a month after moving back to Iowa. Iowa is the most screwed over state in terms of black-outs. I think parts of Arizona might have 6 blacked out at well, but at least they have a damn team!!

If you have access, try getting on ESPN3.com in the Ames area. I know in the past when they've blacked out the game on tv, it's not always blacked out online. Don't know why this would be the case but doesn't appear to be blacked out tonight or Wednesday right now.

I'm trying to decide if I want to watch the game on ESPN or MLB.tv tonight. I don't really like listening to the ESPN announcers (rather listen to **** and Bert), but it would be nice not worrying about the feed being choppy and freezing every once in a while. Any thoughts?

If you listen to **** and Bert on MLB.tv, what I would do is watch ESPN on mute (if I had the game), have my laptop next to me and listened to **** and Bert call the game.
