New rule for dunk contests: call traveling, out of bounds, and eliminate props. If these guys practiced dunks that could be used in the games then maybe we'll see fewer missed ones. What they're doing nowadays isn't at all relevant to basketball.

Here's another idea - let's change up the 3pt shooting contest as well. I mean, having metal racks at 5 different stations, one of which is a multicolored ball worth more points, and jacking up 25 3-pointers in 60 seconds isn't all that relevant to basketball either.
