So i looked and right now tickets are on ale for like $200/seat. There's no way that's the price given how large that stadium is. Does anyone know when non-ISU allotment will be released?

Those are SEASON ticket prices. Individual game tickets will not go on sale until probably July or August based on previous years. Also levels 200 and 300 will NOT be open for UNLV games so that cuts capacity in half at a minimum.

Here's the seating chart

Based on previous years tickets ranged from $24-$69 on the premium games. I am guessing, it'll range from $25-80 not including those gold C112 and C134 club sections

I think I waited too long to book a flight. Prices are double what I looked at a month ago. What price are people finding for flights (DSM or MSP) and what Vegas hotels are fairly priced?

Book hotels ASAP. Life is beautiful plus the pent up demand and the restrictions being lifted in Vegas starting in June are running prices up. $200+ a night + resort fees from $30-45 a night for each Strip Hotel. Check out my thread on all the differences for the hotels.

Keep in mind that for UNLV games they only open the lower bowl and suites, which looks to be around 25,000 seats total.
I would think if the demand is there they would open more sections up. Would be dumb to turn down that money I would think.

But it is costly to open up an entire concourse just for a few thousand extra fans. I know lots of people on here expect them to open up more seats but I would NOT expect that at all.

As it is now I'll try to get a ticket through ISU's allotment and UNLV. If I strike out both times I'll just cancel my hotel

Posted this yesterday on the other Vegas thread that I got from the UNLV coordinator.

Thank you for placing your deposit in experiencing Allegiant Stadium with us for the Iowa State-UNLV game on September 18. Here are some updates that I can share with you at this time:

  • We are still moving forward with our first plan of 100% capacity for the upcoming football season. For UNLV games at Allegiant Stadium, 100% capacity is roughly 27,000 fans.
  • Group and single game tickets will not go on sale for any UNLV football until at least mid-July.
We understand the logistics that many of you are putting into your plans. Trust that you will hear from us come July with more updates.

I know we're all horny to go but this isn't a cheap destination that is in a day's driving distance. I would be shocked.

It could be cheap if you wanted...

Fly out of Minneapolis/Chicago (Even drive if you wanted)
Stay off the Strip
Don’t go to a $100 a plate dinner

It’s all how you want to approach your own trip.

You are absolutely correct, get there and have any version of the trip you want. I just wonder how many people are interested in going to Vegas on a budget? I suspect not that many.

In Vegas I would call this frugal, not cheap.

Oh I get that I just think most people want to make up for missing the Fiesta.
I know I'm treating this as a $4k bowl trip for wife and I.

I do wonder how many people from Iowa are going... but won’t go to the game... I know of like 30 or 40 people going to Vegas that weekend because Iowa State is playing... but will skip the game.
