Best thing about Cyclone Fanatic is that I get older and 21's threads stay the same.
How so? We don't play anyone beyond our top 6 really. Cooke and Ashton will probably play similar roles next year.
The only thing debatable is whether you're a bigger drama queen than dude.
The Big 12 title may be an unrealistic goal at this point, but this team can still do some special things.
We missed a ton of Wide open threes and our free throw shooting was awful. Niang had like 9 turnovers and we still hung in there somehow... That being said...... i'm really nervous about next year. If he doesn't get a impact transfer for the center spot we are in big trouble. Also I'm fine with Nader and McKay being gone after this year.
I think they can play with anyone but they also have their limits. I do think some of those limits are mental at times though. Weird for a veteran group.
'Special things' for me is something like a couple wins in the tourney. Expecting anything more than that is getting on the greedy side vs. what's actually there.
This fanbase continually proves night in and night out, to be mentally weak. Not equipped to be fans in the best conference in the nation and have so many games against rated teams. It makes me nervous.
