Wonder what kind of non-answer he'll give when Randy Pete asks him who he'd want to draft next spring after practice today.
Ya, I just don't see the Cleveland Browns thing. Ohio State and Notre Dame scare me a lot more. Plus the timing isn't good at all to go now unless they hire an interim coach for the rest of the year.
But hey we have a sure fire no name Heisman Trophy winner in our midst.

This would be a 2019 hire...now you see why Iowa fans were so happy with Ferentz...staying put despite multiple NFL calls. We now are feeling some of their pain dealing with multiple coaching rumors...
He's not going to the Browns. If he ever goes to the NFL, it won't be for a long time. Not even the slightest bit concerned about this.
I know, why would he take that job in Ames...
I really doubt Campbell is fatalistic about the Browns job.
Oh, the TOE supporters are hoping like crazy that this happens. There are lots of nervous hokfans in my town (Grinnell) that feel incredibly threatened by what Campbell has done/is doing. They will say "scoreboard" and "he hasn't beaten us yet" but it kills them that we have shown more improvement during each of Campbell's 3 seasons (despite having a revolving door of qbs) than they have in their program.
I'd be very disappointed if CMC were to leave in the near future, but I'm not going to worry about it right now - just gonna enjoy "the process" of this season & hopefully a Big XII championship berth.
I think KF would be perfect for that Clevland job.
