Oh Lawd....

Interesting they say it will show what it "MAY" look like.

That actually doesn't bother me so much. I think the vast majority of us are just looking for a general idea of what this thing is going to look like, and more than likely the video board isn't going to vary all that much structurally or general design. The face of the video board, on the other hand, for instance, location of the screen itself and the design of advertisements and such, might differ from the renderings.

Anything is better than nothing for sure!

In before half of CF loves it and half of CF hates it.

I don't know what everyone is excited about. This won't increase capacity and the end will look empty. :jimlad:

"The length of the structure will be 1/3 longer than the present press tower at the stadium."

Just to put it into perspective.

You guys see on the main page of cyclones.com they have a view of it from the parking lots?

I'm not a fan of the tube metal supports. They make it look too...temporary. Other than that, the size looks nice.

Ordinarily I'd agree. However, with the design of the Jacobsen Building and all of the exposed steel that makes up Jack Trice Stadium in the first place, it doesn't look nearly as "temporary" - it looks like it fits with its environment. If exposed steel is done right, it can actually look sweet, and, at least IMO, in this case it does, especially with the diamond structure holding up the video board.
