True, but at least on a message board you don't have the ability to directly interact with a player or coach.

That's really the only difference. And again - very few people are actually tweeting *at* players and coaches. I'm sure there are extreme examples that are out of bounds, and I would hope players and coaches have the wisdom to realize those are the stupid few.

But it's silly to think that criticism isn't going to come their way after the last month.

Why would Fred retain someone not his own guy and why would Steve take it. I can’t imagine this has ever been done anywhere in division 1. Stupid to think it would go this way.

Also, if you really want Prohm fired, by posting **** on here and on the official Iowa State facebook page (seriously read the comments on those posts), you are making people take the opposite side you want. You aren't convincing anyone. You are making people feel sorry for them.

I'm not saying you should post supportive things, but your point is much better made by not saying anything at all.

I’m not a twitter expert but I looked up the players and couldn’t find anything nasty tweeted at them. Maybe I’m wrong but I couldn’t find it.

But if you think the worst loss for isu in a long time followed up by a loss against tcu wouldn’t prompt tweets ABOUT prohm and the team then grow up.

Google twitter algorithms. Also look at who they follow.

I'm glad people are pissed and I'm glad the players are pissed. Means someone gives a **** about all of this. If you want something, put the work into make it happen. If you want the fans to stop complaining, then this team needs to make changes.

Pretty sure these guys hate losing and are trying to fix this thing. These kids aren’t here for the fans either. What’s happening with fans and players in Hilton or on social media is making this worse.

You've posted this twice now and it's not true. You can't just randomly direct message anyone on Twitter you want unless they open up that option. Very few people actually do, and I would guess the athletic department has instructed them not to for just this reason.
