Our offense sucks. Why did Lanning get taken out? All he did was move the ball and throw for a TD. Right now, I'd accept mediocrity.

TCU is an offensive powerhouse, but their defense is bad. It isn't Wally that is the problem. It is our offense, which disappears for 2-3 quarters every single game. And by far the biggest reason why is our inability to throw accurate passes--even little dink passes are 10 yards overthrown. That doesn't work in a spread offense.

The D was ok it wasn't great. What I don't get is how you can rush 3 guys and have 8 in coverage, and still allow their WRs be wide open. When you rush 3 you basically can double cover their Wrs.

Exactly. ISU actually held them below their average. The offense needs to step up, and that is not all on Sam, but there were a lot of points, yards and first downs out there if he threw accurate passes. Heck half of the catches that were made where diving catches to the ground or great leaps by the WRs to get them.

There is no system a D coordinator can run that will work with the turds we have on defense. I'm not defending Wally - but he has nothing to work with.
