That's embarrassing. They didn't even make a FG until 6:44 was left in the first half. Which is worse though, only scoring 25, or starting Jordan Railey and having 6 players come off the bench who are worse then he is?

Per Associated Press game recap: "The 25 points were the fewest for Washington State since the Cougars had that many at Idaho on Jan. 15, 1938."

To be fair, though: WSU was without its leading scorer (who underwent emergency appendectomy) and another starter (concussion). That obviously didn't help.

Ummmmmmmm...Wazzu has pretty much never been associated with dynasty-style basketball...or football...or sports in general...

They have occasional flashes of brilliance...but the flashes are short-lived and the coach generating the spark usually leaves immediately thereafter.

During the time I was there, we went through four different football coaches in four years. Travelin' Raveling was there the whole time as MBB coach, but as soon as his teams made it to the NCAA's, he left to take over at Iowa.

If you think it's hard recruiting to Ames...trust me, it's nothing like trying to recruit to Pullman. :)

I didn't really care about sports when I was there...that came later when I ended up at ISU, and had sons who were sports geeks. But even I cringed when I saw that score this morning...
