One of, but probably the biggest flaw of our team.

Buckley had some bright spots but is not good in extended minutes.

Don't get me started on DG.

CC has all the potential in the world. I have high hope for him (hopefully he sticks around)

I think most of us can agree that the point guard position is the most important part of the team, right? It's like trying to win with a bad QB. I try not to be negative but this position was tough to watch tonight and for the last couple games.

And yes, this deserved it's own thread(Mods feel free to merge:jimlad:)

We haven't since Will Blalock left. DG does OK but more times than not he's a liability. He's better than Corey McIntosh. I give him that. :)

I liked what Buck was doing. Hitting shots, finding open guys, moving the ball. Then he goes and makes a bunch of mistakes in a row.

Point guard play has been killing us since the Big 12 began. Buckley did some nice things tonight and I would like to see him get more minutes.

Watching the game tonight, if he was given more minutes he would produce better.
than DG. He hasn't gotten enough chance this season to be judged.

Agree, he is more of a "spark" guy rather than a guy who can go and run a team for a 7 minute stretch. Granted, he doesn't have a lot of experience but I just don't ever see him as a true quality point guard.

Until DG can consistantly at least make layups this is not going to get any better. Teams are just letting him get in the paint because they know he can't make a shot.

The one thing Buckley gives us is a 3 point threat, I will give him that. Otherwise, he leaves a lot to be desired but I guess all of our PG's at this point do.

DG has been missing layups since he got here 2.5 seasons ago. I don't see it changing now. He needs to be a Jacy Holloway point guard and look to pass 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th before shooting. So frustrating to see him miss bunny after bunny.

The point guard play was atrocious. The 2 spot was just as bad.The team played on the same level as last year. We could have used BP tonight on the court.

DG is not going to get better. I have watch 2 1/2 years of the same thing over and over. Buckley and Colvin have a chance to improve with more PT. Unfortunately DG will be the starter for 1 1/2 more years.

If only we could take the best qualities from all of our point guards and smash them in to one. Buckley's shooting, DG's leadership, and Colvin's athletic ability.

I really hope Colvin starts getting more minutes. His suspension is over so we can stop ******** about that. An inexperienced Colvin is no worse than an experienced DG. We might as well start getting him as many minutes as possible.

They all do things well, I just wish we didn't have to rely on them so much to create things on the offensive end. They are fine handling the ball up the court, but the decision making and finishing ability once they penetrate into the lane is lacking.

Colvin played awful when he was in... if you're going to rip on DG then please being ripping on colvin as well!

If you don't see Colvins potential then you're blind.

This is DG's third year in the system and he still sucks.
