Surprise.... a Panther Hawk lover.
If you can't see all the breaks Iowa has caught this season, I don't know what to tell you. Yes, they have created some of these breaks themselves, but many have just been freaky.
Yes, they did, but where has that discipline been this year? We return basically everyone, and continue to make mistakes and under perform to the level of talent we have on the field.
I may be wrong in my exact number but that 2011 Alabama defense, widely considered one of the top 3 to 5 defenses of all time had only 20 turnovers the entire year I believe. The pace the Hawks are on is insane. I am jealous. If we had this turnover output by our defense this season looks mighty different.
UNI fans don't have anything to watch other than one day out of the year, clearly nothing better to do.
Maryland beat Illinois by 3 and WVA had 4 TOs so that's how you get to4-0.
You want to talk boring... go to a home UNI football game sometime. Yawn fest. You can pick almost anywhere in the Dome you want to sit. All the students go home every weekend because their campus is so lame and there's nothing to do.... and they even get in free, but still don't go. They'd rather stay home and watch the Hawks on TV.
EIU had 60 more total yards of offense, and lead the game by 27 points. Turnovers 0 to 5, penalties 3/25 vs. 8/71. Doing the little things means a lot in sports and life.
Iowas defense is incredible. Iowas offense is still very suspect, but with their schedule their defense could carry them to a 12-0 season pretty easily.
