Maybe Iowas defense is that good?
I don’t think anyone is arguing that but you have to admit the amount of lucky tips and bounces are unbelievably high.
I mean they have 31 points and about the same yards as Maryland.
And they’ve still got their opponents thinking “we’re just going to do what we do” on offense.
It might not have much affect on the field in terms of wins and losses.... but if people want to be racist and support racist programs... that's on them. Winning football games is meaningless in the game of life. KF, BF, fans, etc will have to live with themselves for what they choose to do and support.
It all comes down to discipline, you can have all the great athletes in the world, but if they do not do the little things, you will lose.
EIU does not hurt themselves, and they just play great solid ball, no one is doing more than his job. Its not pretty to watch, but its effective as hell and we need to start doing more of it.

Well, Iowa D has picked off Penix, Togovailoa, and Purdy 3 times each, that is pretty impressive.
Phil Parker should be a candidate for head coaching jobs, guy is a very good coach.
Petras walking into the B1G championship game will be just as good as Rex Grossman taking the Bears to a Super Bowl.
This might be one of the best defenses Iowa has had in a long time.
