THIS is what we need. A positive Jameel and Cooke can push us to be the team we need to be in March.
This is the McKay from last year. This is the McKay ISU needs to make a run. Love the effort from him and Cooke today.
Can we just put this version of him in a bottle and open it up in the NCAA tournament?

This is the McKay I was expecting all year based on last season. Hustle, boards, blocks, strong above the rim finisher. He was just starting to build some next level buzz going into this season which understandably died the past couple months, he still has a chance to improve his situation beyond ISU a lot if he can help ISU on a tourney run.
Typical. I don't want to see a lot of praise for McKay from losers that bagged on him a couple of weeks ago. You can't have it both ways.
Why not? Praise when he's good, criticism when he's doing dumb things and getting suspended.
Can we change the thread title to add Cooke? He deserves some public praise too. Today's ISU team, with their help, can beat anyone. Gonna need them for a run.
Yeah when you consider Monte, Burton and Nader all had pretty ho-hum games by their recent standards. Niang had it going but was limited by fouls.
I'll take a solid home win powered by McKay and Thomas with a contribution from Cooke.
Umm actually they can. Sorry for calling it like ya see it. This Jameel was awesome and such a welcomed sight.
So you can only react to someone one way regardless of what they are doing? That would be an interesting way to go through life.
