I don't think Mouser sucks but play calling tonight wasn't his best. He's young though I expect him to make mistakes but learn and grow.

Correct, I didn't count that as one of the three. One was a scramble, one was an RPO that he didn't give and was going to pass, and one was the fumble that was going to be a WR screen. Also another was a QB sneak which is a called run but I don't think anyone has any issues with it.
I'm not saying I agree with every call, just that we called a lot of passing plays.
True. But he is playing a bit "Sam Richardsonsy" lately.
He sucked tonight. Did we throw one deep ball against the worst pass defense in the country?
I mean I think everyone and their dog knew there was absolutely no chance we were going to come close to making a 50 yarder in the rain. Our coaches apparently didn’t though
Now that's a take that a sane person could have, it's possible that he just didn't call a great game, but the whole "fire him and find someone else because he sucks" take after his 1st loss is a bit much.
Everyone keeps saying unprepared..but at some point we have to admit we don’t have the players that are executing.
We ran multiple plays with just 2 receivers and everyone else in to block and they still got pressure.
I mean our O Line couldn't hold up for more than a couple seconds. I am more critical that we didn't have some quick hitters or screens to counter the pressure. I don't think we could've thrown a deep ball if we wanted to.
Just FYI, this was the first game all season the Texas Tech secondary had all of their starters healthy and available to play the entire game. If you really watched them all season, it was the backups getting torched for big plays and the biggest reason for the terrible defensive stats.

Not saying they can’t, but I imagine you will see Shadeur and those receivers do what we thought we would do against that crappy secondary.
I'd like to see us try and spread it out more with Carson Brown and Eli Green than have a bunch of TEs out there
They still weren’t good at all. There were holes everywhere and we refused to take what Tech gave us.
You can't call the touchdown plays every time though or it's boring.
Yes, our offensive line sucks and it always has under Campbell. I’ve said it multiple times tonight. It is mind boggling to me how we don’t have anything even near a good as a good G5 line. Someone gets manhandled every play, plus, we have guys who can’t figure out that you can’t just run downfield on a pass play.
Why does Campbell always have a young, inexperienced OC? What would be wrong with finding someone with experience...it seems to have worked well for the defense.
