My side hustle? Correcting people's spelling on the internet.
Nothing for money right now. President of one aviation non-profit, on the board of another non-profit and potentially getting involved with a local municipality committee soon.
Will be starting year 7 of officiating HS football tonight - I pull in ~$2,500-$3k doing that each fall.
As a parent of a HS football player thanks for doing this. They need more people like you doing that.
I currently volunteer and sit on a board for a fundraising org. Once my term is up, I thought about getting a PT job at either a golf course for free golf, or at a golf shop to get the company discount.
I was going to, but the group offered little assistance and I felt on an island on what to do so I told them I was out.
I am trying to play my hand in options trading via Robinhood. I started the year with $2000 in the account to see what I could do with it. It's been a rough start as trying to trade in Q1 was really tough due to market volatility and wild swings in the market. Recently, I've been a little more successful, but haven't recouped my losses yet.
I own two rental properties. Was looking to add another, then interest rates priced me out. Will wait until a calm next year.
Construction/Woodworking
Not as much anymore since the third kiddo was born but have done a bunch to my own house. New bedroom/closet for the oldest downstairs, deck and deck rail, fence, new patio, etc within the last year. Redoing a portion of the neighbors fence soon. Some open shelving for a new kitchen for someone else. I pretty much do enough to keep feeding myself new tools and stuff.

I did baseball for a decade. It’s good money if you can put up with comes with it. I think football would be better.
