The bold really isn't accurate. It's true that Auburn jumped all over the Cyclones to start the 2nd half, from down 16 at half to a tie at 13:51 left. However, it was a dogfight from there on. ISU took the lead back and held it until Broome tied it again with 4:33 left. Auburn took It's first lead at 4:01, but ISU tied it back up with 1:53 left and retook the lead with 51 seconds left.
I know that blowing the big lead was disappointing, but I feel what they showed by not collapsing is much more important and indicative of the makeup of this team.
