Everyone on the offensive staff and associated with the offense IMO needs to be fired. Including the recruiting people.

Name one offensive player whose not currently in the NFL who has improved. Even some of them you would say Purdy regressed so even some of the NFL players got worse and failed to improve much.

Offensive line - zero improvement.
Quarterbacks - can't say I see a ton.
Receivers - none. Noel is who he was last year, X is who he has always been. He's really good but has he improved? IDK.
Runnine backs? - Maybe Breece improved but that's about it.

Now, have we developed players? My answer to that is no. Not on offense. Defensively we seem to be able to find, identify, recruit and develop players to fit our system. So its an offensive staff and identity issue. Along with play calling.

We can't do that on offense. None of our offensive linemen play even though the offensive line performs horribly.

We have Gaines - highly regarded recruit, doesn't play. None of our young receivers must be any good. Because in a year where we are wasting an amazing defense - we refuse to play any of them.

SO that's why I'd get rid of the scouts and analysts for offense. We obviously cannot identify or develop offensive talent. Defensively we're fine. Obviously we are terrible. It appears we wasted bowl season after bowl season after bowl season when it comes to the offense.

Enough has been said about the play calling. This has been a train wreck and I feel for the defensive players and staff.

I tuned in on the way home from work with a few minutes to go. Eric said something like "Iowa State is one of the best at getting organized and getting plays in."

I didn't have an accident, but I'm rethinking whether it's worth having ears. WTF, Eric?

Was it sarcastic? Like 'the BEST' or 'THE best' or did he sound like he was slurring a bit?
