To make Randy Peterson retire. The worst.

I thought Lard played pretty well in the 2nd half. Was the only guy on the team with a positive +/-

I’m sure he will ask some stupid ass question in the press conference that will cause some questioning within the team as well.

When you have more fouls than points, that is an overall negative contribution.

Try making free throws and rebounding?

I am willing to give Lard a break, we don't really understand all that he has been through and what he is feeling right now. He will get better.

Lard wasn't great, but you can tell he's not anywhere near game shape yet, so he's playing the game in spurts when he's out there after he catches his breath. He's carrying some extra weight too still.

He'll be fine eventually, as will this team. They played pretty bad tonight, no doubt, but it's early and is just another step in the process. Prohm wants them peaking later in the year, Fran's season is over now as far as he and the Iowa fans are concerned.

Let's get everyone back and in game shape and let's see where we are.

Lard practiced during his suspension, did he not?

Eric and John were quite complimentary of Lard's effort in the game.

Lard lets the emotions get the best of him, but a lot of people do. He was pissed that he didn't get run early in the 2nd half when our entire front court was in foul trouble 2 min. in and we couldn't get a defensive rebound to save our life. Prohm is a great coach and I like him for ISU, but his early season personal decisions drive me nuts. By the end of this year, Talley and Lard will be in there with 18 minutes to play and we don't play ole defense.
