Going to a wedding this weekend, close to Dallas. Never been there before. We're going with another couple and was wondering what we should see or do. The new Cowboy's stadium is not giving tours this weekend, unfortunately. Any recommendations? TIA

Last time I was there they had go cart tracks all over the place. Seemed like the in thing at the time. That was 13 years ago or so though.

yes sixth floor musuem for sure. does a very good job of portraying that days events and leaves the conspiracy thing up to you to decide.

also, if you were in to Dallas the show....go visit south fork.

not sure if the stars or the mavs are in town this weekend but both of those are a good time at the AAC. you could do that the same day as the jfk musuem as they are very close to each other downtown.

I lived there for a year and wouldn't waste my time going to Cowboy stadium. It's about as exciting as seeing Kemper in KC. I'd spend my time in downtown Fort Worth if I were you. Dallas has a good bar district on the west side of downtown, but all and all the city sucks. Fort Worth will give you a much better Texas feel.
