What ever happened to Rob Gray? I always liked his articles especially the Where are they now series. Seems like he hasn't written anything for a while. Course CW never writes anything anymore guess the podcast stuff is what we are supposed to get our info from. Why listen for 50 minutes when you can read a article in 5 or less. Oh well so much for this friday night thought.

I'd listen to 50 minutes of Gray.

Damn, imo he has the most natural ability of almost anyone on local dsm radio today.
Agree. Knew his stuff and smooth. I always liked how well he could counter argue issues and usually very informed take based on data/information when someone else may have a lazy take.

He also has a great voice/flow as he talks. Not surprised he had options.

Do they still hide him away in obscurity on Saturday mornings while idiots like Travis Justice have the prime morning spots?

Last time I listened to KXNO was back in 2019, only because the job I was doing back at the time didn't have Sirius XM.

Indeed. I really liked his banter with Jared. Both of those guys really knew their stuff, but Rob had so much experience. It really seemed to help Jared with his development as a broadcaster. Will Jared be the next Rob Gray?

Did rob only work football seasons here? I feel like most years I only saw football content from him.

I really miss him. And I have tried podcasts and just don’t have the patience for them. Much prefer print where it is easy to skip stuff that doesn’t interest you. If I try to multitask and listen to a podcast, I wind up zoning out during banter that doesn’t interest me and never start paying attention again.

Rob Gray is an informative writer. At least Stanz does still write a few things.
