Where does the Iowa State basketball team stay in KC

Hi Everyone,

I am working on booking my trip to KC for the basketball tourney and was curious what hotel the basketball team stays in. Last year I stayed at the Crown Plaza where the texa$ and West Virginia teams were staying there and all things being equal it would be more of a thrill seeing Iowa State coming and going to the games than hearing the eyes of texa$ being played in the lobby. In the past they have stayed at the Marriott. It was fun to occasionally bump into players or coaches. One year after winning the big 12 tournament we were part of a large crowd (the lobby was packed) to greet the team when they got back. They player were super excited and there was a lot of high fives, the pep band played and they carried in the championship trophy. Great time!
