If the Big10 goes to a conference only schedule as is being rumored, who do we replace Iowa with? UNI at JTS? Or should we find a Power 5 school in case FCS is cancelled?

A P5 school in case FCS is cancelled. No clue who that'd be.

Drake, of course, because we all want that nightmare again.

I'd imagine all P5 schools will do the same. However, I'm not sure it'll matter much due to the season likely getting pushed to the spring.

But lets be honest, this is just a delaying tactic. Football probably isnt happening at all this fall

I also don't see how conference games are any 'safer' than nonconference games.

This hurts and is going to have catastrophic consequences for college sports -- ones that I do not think people really understand at this point. And I mean that in two ways. People do not appreciate it, and I do not think anybody knows how bad it could get.

But I guess that is no different than many other industries right now.

I am afraid you are going to be right.

People have never taken this thing seriously, and we’re all going to pay for it.

Losing sports seasons will be the least of our worries I fear.

Should just rip the band off already.

Yep. This sounds an awful lot like when everyone started canceling their conference tournaments last March. Everyone knew at that point that the Dance wasn't going to happen. If we see college football at all it'll be next spring, and even that might be optimistic.

First P5 domino to fall.

Hang folks... it’s going to get ugly.
I'd guess in the next week, every conference will go to this. I'm interested to see how this could work with the CFP. Just expand the whole thing?

Lets say there's football in 2021. Ours (and i believe iowa's) schedules are set up in such a way to guarantee a certain number of home games each year balancing this game with the conference schedules. I assume this wouldnt change anything with regards to who would host in 2021? Though i imagine a lot of hawks will ***** about that
