That's a good Question with a couple good candidates. I'll go with Naz, just because he got that place rocking a few times.

Showtime. No one person really was the star tonight. Hoiball is a TEAM concept not an individual one.

Monte's line was the best and makes it all go, but BDJ in the first half and McKay in the second are who mainly kept us in command throughout.

The sequence where McKay was just blocking and dunking all over had to demoralize them a little.

Georges had his moments with shots and passing too, he seemed back to himself much more.

I'll say it like Seth: Monte' Marris.

He kept the team on track and even if he did end up with 2 TO's it's only the high standard that he has set that would let anyone ever be the least bit disappointed with a line like 11, 7 and 10 with 2 TO's.

Everyone played so well, it's hard to name one the player of the game. I would go with Monte... three more rebounds and he would have had a triple-double!

Monte's 11 points, 7 rebs, 10 assists stat line makes it pretty darn hard to argue anyone else. Naz also had some outstanding drives in addition to his 3's.

Oh, yeah; and three steals for Man-Man as well.

I like that a case can be legitimately made for 6 different Cyclones.

In case anyone was wondering, the thread should be titled "Who was the MVP of the game?". Apparently I am too drunk and tired to type.

Definitely a game where you can legitimately take the cop out and say it was a team win. Many players had different roles to fill and they executed what needed to be executed.

My initial thought was McKay because the game just changed when he came in. The defense was better and I felt more at ease. Monte, however, continues to facilitate the success of this team. His and Hoiberg's style are a match made in Cyclone heaven.

I think Monte had the most steady and reliable, start to finish performance.

But I don't think we win if McKay didn't come in and assert himself in the paint like he did.....seemed he started the big momentum rally from both sides of the floor with about 8 to go in the game.

This team is so talented. I still feel like things are a little labored and we have such a higher ceiling. Niang played well, but he's still not dominating in isolation like he did last year. Nader is starting to hit some key shots. McKay is quickly becoming more of a difference maker each week. Bryce is more than the role player he's been the last few games. Naz has added a slash to the basket mode to his deadly 3 pt shot. And Monte is doing monte things.

We might not win the Big 12 regular season championship, but we'll be in the mix. Regardless, if we can keep improving and get clicking by late Feb, I'm hoping we can crash the Elite 8, at least Sweet 16.

Honestly, I thought this was Bryce's best game so far -- not statistically but in terms of all-around play and contributing to team chemistry. His ball-handling in traffic still makes me cringe tho...

In the end tho, Man-man is the man, man.
