My guess is TCU. They seem to bring in decent recruits. TTU is a mess and will continue to be one IMO. If Tubby can't get it done at TTU I'm not sure who will.

TCU -> I think this year has proved Trent Johnson is a very good coach.

Definitely TCU.

I think they're much better than what their conference record shows. They've taken some good teams to the wire, and I still think they were robbed of a win in Morgantown.

Gonna miss their seniors, but Johnson has this program on the up and up.

As for Tech, I know it's just Tubby's second year, but he isn't even landing mediocre recruits. His best player coming in next year isn't even in the top 50 in his own position.

Tcu has basically a nee arena next year and is near Dallas. Tech plays in the middle of nowhere with a washed up coach.

TCU. Heck, you plop them in a different conference and maybe they're relevant now.

Put tcu in the missouri valley and they are ranked 10th in the country right now.

TCU and SMU are going to be good if Texas continues to under achieve.

TCU is losing a lot in Anderson, Fields and Ziegler. Pretty much they return Sheppard and while he was a highly ranked High School kid he hasn't been overly impressive.

Way up there
Tubby is still reeling from the Gillespie days, I think he had to replace 10 or 11 schollies in his first couple of seasons. He has to get his classes a bit more balanced before he can make a run. I'm worried he doesn't have in him the 5 or 6 years it will take to bounce back from that. He had his Kian Anderson type of guy (Gray, who made the game winner over Will Clyburn 2 years ago) but he transferred to juco and is now at LSU. Johnson at the very least has things trending in the right direction. I'd look for TCU to use the Freddie method and bring in a transfer or 2 this offseason.
