This is their rumored schedule: Home vs. Florida, Bama, LSU, Arkansas; Road at Ole Miss, Miss St, Auburn, Mizzou

Florida-W
Bama-L
LSU-L
Arkansas-toss up-likely L
@Ole Miss-W
@Miss State-W
@Auburn-toss-up-L on the road, would win at home
@Mizzou-W

Thats 4-4 with the possibility at 6-2 in the SEC. Pretty even to even better than how they competed in the Big 12.

Aggie with a new coach will not end well next year in the SEC West. They could compete down the road, depending on who they hire as their coach, but I'd bet against them next year in the SEC.

Didn't they lose to mizzou this year? Why is that a W next year? Florida beats them too imo.

Thats 2-6 with the possibility at 3-5 in the SEC. Pretty even to even better than how they competed in the Big 12.

fixed it for you. Florida will be better, Muschamp and Weiss need to get their players in there and they will be fine.

no bowl game.

I want A&M to get killed too, but I think too many of you are overrating the SEC.

Florida is not a good team, and they lose their only playmakers on offense.

Florida has had ONE bad year. They are a GREAT program. They will beat A&M year in and year out.

When did A&M become this perceived juggernaut?? They haven't won a bowl game in....10 years?

They've competed for a Big 12 title...once?

Why all of a sudden do some people think that changes by going to a more powerful conference?

A&M is in a touch spot, because they are about to have a new coaching staff, while playing in a division where Saban, Miles, Petrino, Chizik/Malzahn and Dan Mullen coach.

That is serious business.

New coach, new qb, new rb and losing your top receiver, who knows who else is leaving. Aggies will go 6-6 again, 7-6 at best

Muschamp's seat is very warm already in Gainesville... He better get to 9 wins next year or he won't get a chance to get his players in.

Florida has had ONE bad year. They are a GREAT program. They will beat A&M year in and year out.

If Florida is on the schedule now, they will probably play them the next year then not again for about 6-7 years... Not bad for A&M to catch them down.

A&M should luck out with scheduling quite a bit. Mizzu will be their protected rival so that is one pretty easy game each year (even though Mizzu's rival should be Arkansas) and they play in the same division as the two Mississippi teams who will always be bad. Mizzu on the other hand, might have it even easier. Guaranteed games against Kentucky, Vanderbilt and A&M isn't a bad start.

They'll end up at .500 again next year, the OP is giving them way too much credit. Their schedule will get easier next year but they are an average team at best in a top conference, just like this year.

As for next year with this schedule I see maybe two conference wins; FL and Ole Miss.

Long term aTm could do very well in the SEC but nothing they ever did in Big XII would indicate this. They're UT's little sister, always will be.

On the road at Miss St is not a guaranteed win. They lost to LSU at home 6-19 and South Carolina 12-14. They didn't have a good record this year, but I'd put this in the toss-up category for aTm.

When was the last time the Aggies actually lived up to expectations?
