Why is Baylor playing Huston-Tillotson tonight?

Did the noncon football scheduling carry over to basketball?

it's actually pretty smart because that game won't count against the RPI. It's better than playing Mississippi Valley St. and having your RPI go down. RPI says the game never happened.

It also can give the second string players a chance to break into the rotation since the game will get out of hand early.

It's Baylor's turn at a "bye" week, so they probably want to keep their players in a similar routine since games in the big 12 is usually tuesday or wednesday then saturday. Without the game tonight, they'd have a full week in between games.

WTF in the middle of the big 12 season??? Did this game get pushed back? This doesn't seem fair. Not even a DI school, they should be kicked out of the rankings.

They had a bye then, so I guess they were allowed to do what they wanted with it. We played South Carolina the day some teams in the Big 12 started conference play.

Not sure why you would play against an NAIA team. Seems like a good way to get an unnecessary injury since these game don't count come NCAA tourney time.

If I had to guess this place is affiliated with the same religious cult as Baylor and it's a way to throw them a financial bone.

Baylors starters arent even going to play that long. This game is to get the backups some playing time. Makes some sense to me.

Do we have a random non-con game scheduled in the middle as well? I ask because it looks like we played 1 less non-con game than everyone else for some reason. Not sure what that's about.

If Baylor loses I bet money it'll hurt their RPI.

Drew wants to play a game in which he doesn't have to use all of his timeouts. Bet money he still does.
