Yeah, I could really see us dropping all 4. KU is playing well. BYU just seems like that will be a tough road trip no matter what, similar to how Boulder used to go. UT of course has crazy talent. And KSU on the road is never easy.

That Ohio loss just feels so big right now.
Yeah, the Ohio loss while some say it may have motivated/changed things, would love to have the bowl game in place now

In this season, with the starters lost, distractions abound, turd laid in Ohio…a bowl, any bowl, would be a smashing success and would reset program momentum post (Brock, Breece era). Just get 1 more!
Yep!!!!

I love the way the team has played. Special teams doing things they've never consistently done before, D is finding itself and the offense changing things up. I'm no offensive guru but I feel like the play calls are done with purpose... setting up the next play etc...
I keep going back to the TCU game. The routes the receivers were running were perfect for getting first downs. Just really well though out and executed.

I had to look this up to remember the order and to give more context to projections. Phoenix vs a Big 10 west team would be fun and likely get spicy. Given how ISU missed out last year and knowing how we travel, I can see us getting taken up a rung more than our record would indicate like we have in the past.

I think we beat Kansas and BYU. Lose to Texas in a heartbreaker, like totally ISU fashion. Dropped touchdown catch to win it, missed field goal, fumble at the end, interception in the last drive (something totally nut cup worthy). Then we lose to KSU. All end all, a great rebound season. We make some bowl and it doesn’t really matter because it shows we were way better than last year. Of course, I hope I’m wrong and we win out. That’s what I am always routing for.

I think best case scenario/ceiling for this team is go 1-1 for KU and Texas, beat BYU and then tough loss to KSU.

I think if we beat BYU, ISU and WVU will be the only big 12 teams left that will get to 6 wins.

My current thoughts:

KU - huge hype game, purdy will be there, night game, let's get juicy
BYU - very interesting spot. If we beat KU could be kinda a trap game with Texas looming.
Texas - F*UCK Texas. Tough game, again could be very interesting (weather?)
KState - I don't like this one bit. Purple magic always bites us in the little apple.

One game at a time, hope we can get KU. If not, we have to win at BYU. Worst case we lose out and the rollercoaster goes from riding high (now) to falling flat on our faces. Doom and gloom.

Best case, we start with a hyped up win against KU, take care of business at BYU and get Texas in a snowbowl type game (see yah never shorthorns). KState at that point would be played with house money.

Where I think we end up is somewhere in between. First thing is first - GET BOWL ELLIGIBLE.

Can someone please rank the possible Big 12 bowls in terms of pedigree/purse?

ISU will be bowl eligible after the KU game. This is the perfect spot for ISU, home, night, KU coming off the OU upset.
