Will Percy & Sherron return to Big Dance?

The Running Gibsons and Dorsey-Walkers (aka Oakland) are two wins away from an NCAA auto bid. Currently playing Wright State on ESPNU about halfway thru first half. Oaklands point guard Felder is a true stud. Winner faces Green Bay tomorrow night for conference tourney title. The Phoenix took out top seeded Valpo earlier, so there may be only one Drew coaching in this year's Big Dance.

I was going to say maybe ISU could play them but Oakland is likely a 15 seed maybe 14 if some other teams lose. ISU would have to win the Big 12 tourney to get a chance at a 3 seed.

I don't know. Percy just stands there, they have a one trick pony (kid who has not made a 2-point basket all year, yet averages 10.5 ppg), Dorsey-Walker hasn't done a thing and Felder. Don't get me wrong...Felder is pretty talented, but so out of control.

I stumbled across this guy the other day. Max Hooper. He's 102-229 from 3-pt range and 0-0 from 2-pt range.

thats right, he's shot well over 200 threes without attempting a shot inside the arc. I have no idea how that is possible.

I know he started. Hasn't seen the floor since about 15 left in the 1st half.

SDW was averaging well over 30 minutes a game for their first 20 games or so, but has been closer to 12-15 the last 12 games. No idea why.

And that's Percy's career. Weird. Would never have guessed that after his freshman year

Goodness. Oakland had beat Wright St. both conference meetings, once by 26 and once by 16. Both times Oakland scored 89 points on them. Tonight Oakland only manages 55. Not surprising to see upsets in tournament play, but that's some major turnaround with the defensive effort.
